  • What stops us from seeking help?
Sometimes, it’s the fear of being judged, the hesitation to open up to someone new, or even the belief that our struggles aren’t significant enough that hold us back from seeking the support we deserve. Added to that, the stigma surrounding mental health and concerns about affordability, can make it even harder to reach out for help.
  • I know I need help but how and whom do I ask for it?
Reaching out to a loved one whom you trust can always be the first step to having conversations about your feelings. Alternatively, you can ask them to help you to seek help. In case you find it difficult to speak to a loved one, you can choose to speak with your primary healthcare provider, or a trained emotional support volunteer as a first step.
  • Do I just want to talk to someone, or do I need therapy?
After experiencing an overwhelming situation, speaking with a loved one or just someone who listens can lighten our hearts. However, if these conversations do not provide the relief you need, and if you feel worn out and exhausted over a period of time - you can consider speaking to a therapist.
  • How do therapy sessions work on NABI?
Our therapy sessions are conducted by licensed therapists through video calls. You can schedule an appointment through the 'Connect with a psychologist' feature from the app at a time that suits you.
  • Is therapy confidential?
Any information that you share with your therapist during a session will be kept confidential.
  • How can I practise self-reflection?
Make it a habit to carve out time for yourself, whether it's through journaling or just sitting quietly with your thoughts. Talking to others and reflecting on past experiences can really help you understand your feelings and actions better. Don’t forget to acknowledge how far you’ve come and be kind to yourself as you continue working on self-awareness and personal growth.
  • What are some benefits of self-reflection?
Taking time for self-reflection offers many benefits, like deepening self-awareness, improving decision-making, building resilience, and strengthening emotional balance. It also nurtures personal growth and relationships. Reflecting on past experiences can provide valuable insights, helping us see things more clearly and make meaningful changes in different aspects of life.
  • Why is self-reflection important?
